Photography Experiments: Dodge and Burn

Hi! I am still alive, I swear, I’ve just neglected this blog for a month (?) because everything else is completely hectic right now. I’ve been revising like crazy, it’s currently mock exam season, and all blogging time has been devoted to keeping my book blog updated.

However, I’m going to try and post here a little more often, because I’ve realised that I haven’t been photographing as a hobby in a while. And I really want to do so more regularly. Because it’s funnnnn.

Anyway, here’s some random photos. I’ve been trying to teach myself some new things in Photoshop, most recently dodging and burning photos. I thought it would be useful to try out because I only ever increase the shadows in pictures with the curves option. It’s cool to try better methods!

These are hella amateurish, but oh well. At least, in the future, I can look back on them and see how I’ve (hopefully) improved 😀
